This assemblage is made of repurposed materials: plastic swimsuit form against recycled foam core board, packing paper, printed tissue paper, translucent papers, ink jet print, sewing pins, glue. It is inspired by my experience in water while swimming laps, watching reflections and patterns.
Sometimes life pushes art to the side. In my case, my elderly parent's needs took over my life for awhile.
Things are more organized now. I have been creating in my mind all along, and now I am finding time to create tangible work.
